WDs the No. 1 Choice of Independent Repair Shops for Wiper Blades for European Vehicles According to IMR Repair Shop Tracking Study

No matter the type of vehicle: domestic, Asian or European, the WD is the primary choice of independent repair shops for wiper blades. IMR’s Repair Shop Tracking study reveals that 62.9 percent of shops make their WD the first call for wiper blades for European vehicles. This number is similar for both domestic vehicles (61.5 percent) as well as Asian vehicles (62.6 percent).

“The IMR Repair Shop Tracking Study reveals that WDs are extremely consistent when it comes to purchasing wiper blades,” said Bill Thompson, president and CEO of IMR Inc. “Six out of every 10 independent repair shop we surveyed buys wipers from the WD no matter the type of vehicle. The IMR Repair Shop Tracking Study also shows that car dealers don’t get much wiper blade business from shops.”
